Who: Anyone interested in learning more about the U.S. Green Building Council, becoming a member the LEED AP credentialing, the new Green Association Accreditation, the formation of our Member Interest Circles (Schools, Neighborhood Development, Green Building Operations and Maintenance, Homes and the longstanding New Construction and Commercial Interiors)

 

What: The West Michigan Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council is holding an event to help teach you about the 2009 changes in LEED Accreditation, what it means to be, and how to become, a Green Associate, options for Current LEED AP’s without specialty; learn how to maintain current status or obtain a specialty, the CMP requirements to maintain your status as a LEED Green Associate, LEED AP with a specialty, and/or LEED AP without specialty, methods of fulfilling these requirements and what happens when these requirements are not met. Also experience ways you can become engaged in the green building movement in Michigan.  Learn about specialty areas such as green schools, homes, neighborhood development, new construction, commercial interiors and existing buildings.
