The U.S. Green Building Council West Michigan Chapter is offering an intensive two-day workshop to prepare individuals for the challenging LEED Accredited Professional Examination.  The 16-hour course will serve the needs of any building industry stakeholder.  The workshop format provides an interactive experience that follows normal design and construction process.

Students will be provided hands on experience in calculating LEED requirements based on case studies. The course explains how to administer LEED requirements on projects, covers the use of the USGBC’s web-based submittal process: LEED-Online. Gain an understanding of “green” practices in the design, procurement and construction of buildings, and relearn exam preparation skills.

Classes are held at Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber, 1515 Arboretum Dr, SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. May 6 doors open at 7:30 a.m. for registration.  Classes will meet from 8:00 am - 5:00 p.m.

Registration Fees: $400 per person. USGBC West Michigan members will receive a $50 discount, you pay $350. To pay on-line using a credit card please follow this link.

This class is eligible for sixteen AIA Continuing Education Units, with three more if you take the LEED AP exam.  Please include your AIA number with your registration if you wish to take advantage of this offer.
