Join us at this unique symposium to learn about the attributes
of wood as a preferred, sustainable building material with benefits to human
health. Discover how wood and engineered wood products can be incorporated into
innovative residential and non-residential building projects.
Up to three (3) CEU’s available for AIA Sustainable Design
credit. Certificates available for use by other organizations.
Presenters to include: Aude Fournier, Canadian Forest Service;
Wayne Trusty, Athena Institute; Dr. David Fell, FP Innovations; Dan Jacobs, A3C
Collaborative Architecture, and Gary Williams, Timber Systems.
Architects, builders, designers and engineers should attend to
discuss developments in sustainable building, green building rating systems,
carbon footprint management and life cycle assessment, the health benefits of
wood, forest management certification and use of innovative wood products in
sustainable design.
