Across North America, 2030 Districts® are forming to meet the energy, water and vehicle emissions reduction targets for existing buildings and new construction called for by Architecture 2030 in the 2030 challenge for planning.

The Grand Rapids 2030 District is a groundbreaking, private sector led, high-performance building district in downtown Grand Rapids. Building on the established private and public sector leadership in Grand Rapids around sustainability, the district works to facilitate collaboration towards creating efficient buildings and a thriving downtown.
