USGBC- West Michigan Chapter presents: Green Buildings of West Michigan

Green Buildings of West Michigan Book Now Available:  With more than 130 LEED-certified buildings in West Michigan, we have the perfect opportunity to prove the benefits and showcase green building design as a region. Over 40 building owners agreed to showcase their buildings and provide post-occupancy research data on energy.  This resulted in a two-day showcase tour that was held in September 2010 and a 108 page hard cover book!  Here is a link to preview the 40 buildings that were involved. 

To commemorate the tour and create a meaningful legacy, the Chapter is publishing a full-color, hard-cover, coffee-table quality book of case studies of LEED-certified buildings in West Michigan. It will include an Overview of Sustainability in the West Michigan region and Case Studies of each of the segments on the tour: commercial, education, health care, homes, non-profit, and office.
