Cascade Engineering - The Learning Community

Cascade Engineering is committed to effectively managing all of its resources - human and environmental. The promise to be responsible demands that one also be accountable. For this reason, we developed our new corporate headquarters to meet LEED for Existing Buildings certification guidelines and added a few of our own ideas not required for certification. In fact, this was the first LEED EB Platinum building in Michigan, awarded in the fall of 2007. Cascade Engineering's commitment to sustainability is demonstrated through this certification and the certification of our Mt. Airy, North Carolina Manufacturing Facility. While we believe that contributing to the green and sustainable built environment is the right thing to do, we also believe it is good business, and have been able to show a strong return on investment for the attributes and systems that make this a green building.
