CityFlats Hotel - Holland
Change is good. Changing in order to be good to the earth is great. That was our thinking when we set about changing the way guests stay in Holland, Michigan. It is the policy of CityFlats Hotel to ensure that the building site is operated in an environmentally responsible manner and that we are good stewards of the built environment. It’s why we created 56 distinctively designed rooms, each as unique as a fingerprint – with a smaller carbon footprint.
To become the Midwest’s first LEED-NC Gold hotel, we recycled 81% of jobsite waste and sourced 38% of materials within 500 miles. CityFlats features rapidly renewable cork flooring, low-flow water fixtures and natural daylight in 95% of spaces.
