Helmus Building Bazzani Associates Headquarters

The Helmus Building, located in Grand Rapids’ historic Wealthy Street District, is a 10,000 ft2 mixed use building, originally erected in 1918. The building has been rehabilitated to LEED-Silver certification standards by Bazzani Associates. Touting environmentally and socially balanced design, the building is now a model for energy and resource efficiency, boasts a unique vegetative roof, and serves as a foundation for the Wealth Street District’s transformation from a blighted community to a reinvigorated progressive and desirable neighborhood in West Michigan.
