Heron Manor is a modern, barrier-free facility, whose spacious design provides quality living spaces for independent seniors. The building features 55 well-appointed apartments designed to accommodate a variety of residents. A large dining hall, senior activity center and open common areas encourage socializing and provide space for planned activities. A multi-purpose room provides a comfortable venue for movies and performances.

Twenty-five of the apartments are reserved for applicants who are eligible for subsidized housing and Medicaid. Thirty apartments are available for individuals with sufficient personal funds to pay privately for rent and support services.

Heron Manor is the first Platinum LEED for Homes Multi-Family project in Michigan. The facility has earned an award from the Michigan Green Build Initiative and has received LEED Platinum certification from the USGBC.
