Information:
    • Storm water runoff from the roof and parking lots is retained/treated on site
    • Building and parking footprint was limited to maximize the use of green space on the site
    • Minimal light pollution from the building/site
    • Efficient flow fixtures reduces water consumption
    • Maximized energy efficiency of all building systems to reduce energy consumption, 38% above baseline
    • 35 percent of the power consumed is purchased from renewable energy providers
    • Mechanical equipment used is 100 percent free of ozone depleting substances
    • Use of low-emitting VOC materials in paints, carpets, adhesives and wood material selections
    • 85 percent of construction waste was diverted from landfills
    • Emphasis on the use of regional building materials and materials with high recycled content
    LEED Rating: Silver for NC 2.2, awarded 1-27-10
