- Storm water runoff from the roof and parking lots is retained/treated on site
- Building and parking footprint was limited to maximize the use of green space on the site
- Minimal light pollution from the building/site
- Efficient flow fixtures reduces water consumption
- Maximized energy efficiency of all building systems to reduce energy consumption, 38% above baseline
- 35 percent of the power consumed is purchased from renewable energy providers
- Mechanical equipment used is 100 percent free of ozone depleting substances
- Use of low-emitting VOC materials in paints, carpets, adhesives and wood material selections
- 85 percent of construction waste was diverted from landfills
- Emphasis on the use of regional building materials and materials with high recycled content
