Plante & Moran - The Christman Company
The Plante & Moran/ Christman building is triple LEED certified: gold for core and shell, and gold and platinum for commercial interiors. Located on a Brownfield site along the Grand River River-walk near the Fish Ladder, this 5-story building enhances the cityscape and offers great views and day-lighting to 75% of occupied areas. State-of-the-art, energy-efficient windows, lighting, plumbing, and HVAC systems along with a white roof and Energy Star office equipment and appliances dramatically reduce energy and water consumption.
Using low-emitting materials and green building practices maintained superior air quality during and after construction. Locally made and recycled materials include steel framing with 95% recycled content and FSC certified wood. The building’s interior design and green housekeeping promote environmental stewardship moving forward.
