Plaza East Office Building - Holland
Plaza East, the first multi-use office/retail building to be awarded LEED-CS Gold in the Holland vicinity, continues to support the original concepts of the “super block” along 8th Street between College and Columbia Avenues. Architecturally consistent with Holland’s nineteenth century downtown facades, the building features views of the new plaza with its interactive fountain, conceived as a multi-generational living room for the downtown, the historic City Hall and Fire Barn, and DeZwann, Holland’s historic windmill.
The efficient water source heat pump system allows flexibility in placement of tenant space and size, as well as ample individual thermostatic control. Plaza East construction incorporated 33% recycled content, while 50% of the materials were sourced within 500 miles.
