Located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the Steelcase WorkLab is situated within an early systems panel plant. The entire building is 367,500 square feet and Steelcase has re-purposed 160,000 square feet. The WorkLab is a brand experience center for design professionals and customers which demonstrates the newest Steelcase products in a variety of workplace settings. Featuring the latest Steelcase products, the WorkLab environment allows visitors to experience the furniture and understand how it can enable them to create strong connections in the workplace between colleagues, information and the overall organization. Launched in November 2008, the building was designed to immerse guests into a natural environment via the latest sustainable design practices.
