Job Description

Right now, we are focused on holding big utilities in the state accountable. Our energy infrastructure in Michigan is outdated, and utilities are raking in massive profits while communities suffer from extended power outages and high energy rates. We're working to require these utility companies to increase investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy, and pass savings on to the community. We need to transition away from polluting fossil fuels and fight climate change in Michigan.

For 51 years Clean Water Action has succeeded in winning some of the nation's most important environmental protections through grassroots organizing, expert policy research and political advocacy focused on holding elected officials accountable to the public.
