The City of Reno, Washoe County, and the State of Nevada will be working with the Reno-based carbon tracking company – Ledger8760 – to track energy and emissions data in real-time. 

The real-time carbon mapping technology will be in line with the standards set by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and will provide a reliable baseline of carbon emission data. Ledger8760 will collect live energy and emissions data on an hourly, daily, and monthly basis from all public facilities in the city of Reno and Washoe County, as well as from various state facilities.
