Michigan Climate Action Network – Leader
The Michigan Climate Action Network (MiCAN) is seeking a strong leader to guide the largest network and serve as a leading voice for climate action in Michigan. The ideal candidate is an effective leader who is passionate about climate and justice, and has experience in public policy advocacy, networking, coalition building, and facilitation. The person in this role will have tremendous opportunity to grow the influence of MiCAN to match the urgency of the climate crisis, which could include establishing MiCAN as a 501c3 organization. Candidates with higher levels of experience may be considered for a Director level position, other candidates will be considered for a Manager level position. The MiCAN leader will work closely with the MiCAN Steering Committee and the Groundwork’s Climate and Environment Program Director. This position is full-time and year-round with the location flexible within Michigan.
