Panelists:
Lana Crouse – Regional Director, U.S. Market Transformation & Development, U.S. Green Building Council

Matthew Hollander – President, Hollander Development

Description:
For almost 15 years, LEED has been a pillar of the green building movement. The rating system has evolved over the years to “meet the needs of an incredibly wide and diverse audience, while at the same time, never relenting in its pursuit of market transformation.” In this webinar, Lana Crouse, Regional Director at the U.S. Green Building Council will walk us through the future of LEED.

Matthew Hollander, President at Hollander Development will discuss the local perspective of completing The Creamery, a LEED v4 Multifamily project in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Hollander Development is a legacy affordable housing development firm, established in 1979. Historically, they have put a lot of importance on high performance building and sustainable construction in their projects. This project was their 4th LEED Certified building, though the first LEED Platinum Certification for the company, and they don’t have plans to stop there.
